Rachel Bishop
2nd VP of Membership co-chair
While at Auburn University (Epsilon Eta), I was a very active member of Kappa especially when it involved giving back to our local community through literacy, equine therapy, and the Big Brother Big Sister program. As an adult, I enjoy serving my community through voluteerism to women's organizations, dog rescue, and people with special needs (Night to Shine). Though my husband and I only moved to the Raleigh area in 2017, I have been an proud member of other North Carolina Kappa alumnae associations prior to this one. The well-rounded and diverse women in the Triangle have created a top-tier alumnae association that we would love to have you join! I am honored to have been asked to lead our Greater Raleigh Alumnae Association as the Membership co-chair, after previously serving as Philanthropy, and look forward to working alongside and strengthening my relationships with my Kappa sisters as we give back to our Triangle community.

Secretary
Being a member of the GRAA has been a wonderful welcoming experience. Shortly after joining, I became more involved by helping out with Philanthropy and now as Secretary. I moved to Raleigh in 2014 from Boston, but I am a California native at heart. While at Epsilon Pi (UC Riverside) I held the offices of Scholarship Chair and Corresponding Secretary. I live in North Raleigh with my husband Mark, son Brad, and our two cockapoos.

I grew up in the Virginia Beach area, but fell in love with the Raleigh area after college. Currently, I work for a storm water management company in Raleigh as an Aquatic Technician. I am very much looking forward to growing our community in the greater Raleigh area. I really hope to make an impact this year.

Philanthropy
I am very excited to be stepping into the role of Philanthropy Chairman for GRAA! I am originally from Idaho but attended the University of Utah where I served as Philanthropy Chairman for Delta Eta chapter and had a wonderful experience in this role. I relocated to North Carolina for graduate school and ended up loving the Raleigh area and decided to move here shortly after. I currently practice as a Physician Assistant and in my free time love to spend time outdoors with my furry best friend, Lola. I look forward to seeing you at our future events!
